Help a sister out
It starts with you. Your support makes a significant difference to women and girls at WAGEC.
Make a Donation
Your generosity will help provide safe spaces for women and children in crisis, as well as deliver programs that promote women’s financial independence, nurture recovery from trauma and enable kids to thrive.
Fundraise and Stay Active
There are lots of different ways that you can fundraise for WAGEC.
Raising money as part of a sporting event is a fantastic way to support us. When you fundraise for WAGEC, you will be helping us provide safe spaces for women and children in crisis, as well as deliver programs that promote women's financial independence, nurture recovery from trauma and enable kids to thrive.
Fundraise in Celebration
Another impactful way to fundraise for WAGEC is by asking for donations in lieu of gifts for your birthday, wedding or another special occasion.
We're so appreciative of all of the kind and generous supporters who have decide to forgo receiving gifts so that they can support women and children escaping homelessness.
Honour the Memory of a Loved One
When you support us by donating in lieu of flowers, you are making a lasting tribute to a loved one. Your generosity is helping to create safe spaces for women and families who are escaping homelessness or domestic violence.
Support from volunteers means we can do more for women and families.
Volunteering is a great way to give back and to really make an impact in someone’s life. Whether this be through sorting donations that make their way to a relieved mum with the essentials like the new backpack her child needs for school, or a direct impact through providing tutoring services to children.
Contact email@example.com for an application form or visit the volunteer page and see what roles are currently available.
We are still taking expressions of interest for volunteering, however due to the current situation we are pausing any direct contact activities for now and the forseeable future. Community is more important than ever and we appreciate you supporting WAGEC. Our priority is to ensure the utmost safety of our clients, volunteers, staff and community. We have put in place increased infection control procedures and are taking steps to mitigate the spread of the virus and minimise its impact.
