Child and Young Person (CYP) Casual Worker

Casual

About the role

WAGEC is looking to build a pool of casual CYP workers to assist with child-minding and support group activities at our refuge sites in the Inner West.

These roles support our SEED program - which identifies and works to support the Social, Emotional, Educational and Development needs of children and young people whose lives are impacted by homelessness and domestic and family violence.

This is a practical and physical role supervising children aged 5 years and under during weekly playgroups and women’s groups throughout school terms. WAGEC supports a one worker to three children or less model of care. Shifts may vary between 3-6 hours per week, Monday to Friday between the hours of 9am – 4pm.
