WAGEC (Women’s and Girls’ Emergency Centre) is a not-for-profit organisation based in Sydney that supports women, children and families across New South Wales (NSW).
We help people who are experiencing domestic and family violence, or who have no safe place to live. Our support is free and confidential. We can help:
WAGEC cannot give you a place to stay on the same day you call. If you need a bed tonight, please call Link2Home on 1800 152 152. It is open 24 hours.
Call (02) 9319 4088 and press 1.
You do not need a referral. You can call us yourself, or a support worker can call for you. We will listen, explain your options, and connect you with the right support. If WAGEC is not the right service for you, we will help you find one that is.
All of these services are free and available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, in NSW.
