Important changes to Walk for WAGEC in response to COVID-19

By WAGEC

Published on March 25, 2020

In view of the constant changing landscape and the increasing pressures everyone is feeling, we have made the decision to put our virtual Walk for Women's and Girls' Emergency Centre permanently on hold.

To our amazing community of supporters,

We hope you are taking care of and looking after one another.

This message is to inform you of important changes to Walk for Women’s and Girls’ Emergency Centre 2020.

In view of the constantly changing landscape and the increasing pressures everyone is feeling, we have made the decision to put our virtual Walk for Women's and Girls' Emergency Centre permanently on hold.

Our priority is the health and mental well-being of everyone in our network, our supporters, volunteers, staff and of course our clients and the communities in which we operate.

We will continue to focus on delivering essential services for women and families, when and however we can.

We will continue to update you, reach out and find ways of connecting us as a community.

THANK YOU to everyone who has, and continues to support our work. We cannot do what we do without you <3

Stay safe, stay in contact and please nurture yourself and your loved ones during this time.

Our deepest love and respect to you all,

Helen and the WAGEC Team
