To wrap up another busy but brilliant year WAGEC’s team brought 2022 to a close with a day of festive cheer, lawn bowls, a bountiful lunch spread and the quality company of both new and old faces in WAGEC’s growing team of passionate and integrity-driven women.
The crispy potatoes (shoutout to Petersham bowlo) and the opportunity to enjoy a relaxed, warm afternoon of connection didn’t go unnoticed. While, WAGEC’s Site Facilitator, Juili set the bar for best dressed!
Over lunch, WAGEC’s CEO Helen Waters Silvia made a toast to the persistent dedication and hard work exhibited by WAGEC’s team, with special thanks made to the women who worked over the festive period so that WAGEC could continue to offer support to women and children during what can be a particularly difficult time.
As we enter 2023 we bring with us optimism and hope, continuing to work together towards social change and collaborating with our community to build safer and better futures.
