Fundraise

It takes us all to create safe futures for women and families.

What does it mean to fundraise for WAGEC?

Community fundraising is any event or initiative that raises funds for WAGEC's work in the community. Your fundraising activity could be held on a single day or over several months. It might involve your friends, family, colleagues, neighbours and wider community.

By fundraising for WAGEC, you're helping create safe spaces for women and children who have experienced homelessness and/or domestic violence.

How do I fundraise for WAGEC?

There are plenty of ways you and your community can fundraise for WAGEC. Here are some ideas!

GET TOGETHER FOR WAGEC: throw a dinner party, ask people to make a donation in lieu of an entry ticket or birthday present, organise a movie night or garage sale.

GET MOVING FOR WAGEC: Run a marathon, count your steps, organise a bush walk, swim laps, cycle the city or clean your local park.

GET CREATIVE FOR WAGEC: Auction art, design and sell merchandise, organise a bake sale, donate a portion of your businesses' sales.

You can fundraise for WAGEC as an individual, group, family, community or business.
