This month we are delighted to share that WAGEC will be partnering with Pepper Money Australia to deliver ACCESS to Success, a mentoring program for clients at WAGEC. ACCESS to Success will support women through training, education and employment opportunities as they enter or re-enter the workforce after experiences of homelessness or domestic violence.
We are so grateful for the opportunity to work with the Pepper, whose mission as Australia’s number 1 alternative lender is to help people succeed.
In addition to supporting our mentoring program, the Pepper Team has already been out to three of our properties to shed some love by cleaning, gardening and lots of refurbishment at the sites to make them feel warm and cared for during the winter months.
It doesn’t end there! When Pepper learned that one of our washing machines was broken, they decided to hold a fundraiser in their office to raise money so that we could purchase a new washing machine, an item that is basic but so essential to our day-to-day lives.
We are delighted to be working with such a dedicated and authentic group and cannot wait to see what shared impact we achieve through this partnership.
