Finding safety is an important first step. But the impacts of violence, homelessness and systemic disadvantage do not disappear once the immediate crisis ends.
WAGEC’s support programs are designed to respond to what survivors tell us they need next. Together, they sit within WAGEC’s continuum of support and create vital pathways towards healing, stability and thriving.

Specialist, trauma-informed support for children and young people aged 6 to 12, and their families, who have experienced violence.

One-to-one mentoring and job readiness support, building confidence, connection and pathways to work and new opportunities.

Where systems don’t always meet people where they are, From Now journeys alongside them — bringing together housing, trauma-informed care, and practical support to navigate the justice system.

Group programs for current or former clients, and those connected to WAGEC. These programs are not open to the general public, but form a key part of our holistic and trauma-informed case management and support work.
Our programs support women, trans and gender-diverse people, and children who have experienced domestic and family violence, homelessness or other forms of systemic disadvantage across NSW.
While each program has its own eligibility criteria, they are designed to respond to different stages of the recovery and rebuilding process. Please note: programs are not open to public registration.
Many of our program participants are already connected with WAGEC through specialist homelessness, domestic and family violence or case management services. Others join through referrals from trusted community partners, correctional services or other frontline organisations, depending on the program.
It is common for someone to participate in more than one program as they continue their journey towards recovery and rebuilding.
The systems people rely on after crisis are often fragmented, difficult to navigate and stretched beyond capacity. WAGEC’s programs help fill those gaps.
In the last year (2024/25) alone, we proudly supported:

Help fund innovative, trauma-informed healing programs for women, gender-diverse people, and children across NSW.
Work with us to strengthen, grow or sustainably fund programs creating long-term change through corporate partnerships.
Use your skills and resources to make a difference through mentoring, community programs and practical opportunities.
